Who we are
The Native American Sport Fishing Federation (NASFF) enters Native American anglers in international sport fishing competition. NASFF is run by its founding president, Robert Jacobo III. Until NASFF incorporates as a nonprofit, he operates it as a sole proprietorship under the NASFF name, and gifts made through nasff.org are received and managed that way.

Giving
What your gift pays for
Gifts pay for NASFF's entry in the 2026 Pan American Surf Fishing Championships at Sebastian Inlet State Park, Florida, November 5–8, 2026: the fishing license, entry fees, travel, lodging, meals and competition gear, plus filming the Florida run. Anything beyond the 2026 costs goes to NASFF's 2027 team.
The giving levels on the Support page show what each amount can pay for. NASFF puts every gift where the trip and the team need it most.
Not tax-deductible
NASFF isn't a 501(c)(3) organization, so gifts aren't tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
How online giving works
Online gifts go through Stripe's secure checkout. You can pay with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on your device. All amounts on nasff.org are in US dollars (USD). If you're outside the US, checkout may show the amount in your own currency. NASFF never sees or stores your full card number.
Receipts
Stripe emails a receipt as soon as your gift goes through. The charge usually appears on your statement as NASFF SPORT FISHING.
Monthly gifts
Monthly gifts are charged on the same date each month until you cancel. To change or cancel one, email info@nasff.org and we'll confirm within two business days. Canceling stops future charges; it doesn't refund earlier ones.
Sponsorships
Sponsorships that come with recognition, like a sponsor's logo on an athlete's jersey or a credit in the film, are set out in a short written agreement before any money changes hands.
Gear
Donated gear, and gear bought with gifts, stays with NASFF as team gear for future anglers.
Thanking donors
We only name donors and sponsors publicly with their permission.
Refunds
If you give by mistake (the wrong amount, a duplicate charge, or a gift you didn't mean to make), email info@nasff.org within 30 days and we'll refund it in full. Other refund requests are handled case by case.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show them.
If a charge looks wrong, please email us before disputing it with your bank. We'll make it right.
Gifts don't involve shipping anything, so there's no shipping or return policy.
Privacy
What we collect
- When you give online: Stripe collects your payment details. NASFF receives your name, email address, the amount and date, and anything you choose to add, such as whether we may thank you publicly. We never receive your full card number.
- When you fill out a form: our roster interest and support forms run on Jotform. They collect what you enter, such as your contact details, your fishing background or how you'd like to help, and send it to info@nasff.org.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you write.
What we never ask for
We never ask for ID documents, tribal enrollment numbers or Social Security numbers online. When NASFF needs to confirm enrollment, it does so privately, one on one.
How we use it
To process gifts and send receipts, to thank you, to follow up on pledges, sponsorships and roster interest, and to keep the records that tax and payment rules require.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with sponsors or other organizations without your permission. A few services help run NASFF: Stripe (payments), Jotform (forms), Namecheap Private Email (email) and Netlify (website hosting). The site's fonts come from Google Fonts. Like most websites, these services receive basic technical data, such as your IP address, when you use them. We'll disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
nasff.org doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe's checkout and our Jotform forms may use cookies for security and fraud prevention.
Young anglers
Anglers under 18 should fill out NASFF forms with a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 without a parent or guardian.
Keeping and deleting your information
Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Everything else is kept only while it's useful to NASFF's programs. Email info@nasff.org to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop hearing from us, and we'll reply within 30 days.
Security
Payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of the card industry's security standard. nasff.org is served only over HTTPS.
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.

Gifts are covered by the giving and refund policies above.
